How we use AI

What Remi is

Get AI Resume is built around Remi, an assistant powered by a large language model. Remi writes the wording of your resume: it turns the notes you type into a summary, achievement bullets and grouped skills. There is no human reviewer.

What we use AI for

Reading an existing resume you upload, so the steps come pre-filled
Expanding the short bio you write into a summary
Turning your plain-language description of a job into bullets
Tightening project descriptions and grouping your skills
Suggesting up to three clarifying questions, but only when you supply a job description
Suggesting colours and fonts when you ask it to restyle a resume

What it is not allowed to do

Remi cannot invent facts about you. It may only reword what you supplied. This is enforced in our code, not just requested in a prompt: employers, job titles, institutions, qualifications and dates are taken from your answers and written back after the model replies, and any entry the model adds is discarded. If a number is not in what you wrote, it cannot appear in your resume.

We do not train foundation models on your data. Your resume content is sent to the model to produce the output you asked for, and is not used to improve third-party model weights.

We do not apply to jobs for you, share your resume with recruiters, or post it to job boards. Your resume goes where you send it.

Where AI falls short

Language models can produce wording that reads well but misses your meaning, flattens something important, or strikes the wrong tone. You see every change before it is applied, and you can edit any part of your resume directly. Read it over before you send it to an employer.

Your controls

Every AI suggestion is shown to you and applied only if you accept it.
You can edit any field of your resume by hand at any point.
Your resume still works if the AI is unavailable. The steps you filled in are assembled into a resume either way.
